Junior Golfers
Junior golfers are 17 years of age and under. Our junior golf programs are designed to help all juniors to learn rules, etiquette, swing fundamentals, respect for the course and the game.
 

Junior Equipment
Pruneridge Golf Club offers the club fittings for junior golfers. Juniors need properly fit clubs to help promote good swing fundamentals. Juniors grow so fast it is sometimes necessary to purchase new clubs each year. We have special pricing for junior equipment and the Pruneridge Golf junior members receive a 10% discount.
 

Annual Junior Club Membership
(price $20.00)
Junior members receive discount green fees ($10.00) seven days a week, includes holidays. The membership also entitles the junior to 10% off merchandise (excluding Ping) in the golf shop.
 

Junior Golf Lessons

Free Junior Golf Lessons
We supply everything the juniors need, including golf clubs and practice golf balls. There is no need to sign up in advance. Just show up and enjoy the class. Each class has two instructors and about 20 students. We instruct the fundamentals of the golf swing, rules, etiquette, chipping putting, and bunker shots. Range balls are included and golf clubs are provided if needed.

Junior Winter Academy 2011
Pruneridge Golf Club's Junior Winter Academy is for junior golfers from 8 to 17 who have intermediate golf ability* and have the desire to become better golfers. During the class the juniors spend time practicing on the range, putting or chipping greens to improve fundamentals. We will also go play the golf course to work on lowering scores. Time will be spent discussing rules and course etiquette while on the course.

The class will be taught by PGA Head Golf Professional Jeff Johnson.

The class is limited to the first 12 juniors to sign up and pay the entry.
Space is limited so don't wait!

The fee includes instruction, range balls and green fees.
The cost for the class is $400.00 per student.

There will be no refund for missed classes.

* "Intermediate golf ability" is defind as a junior who has their own clubs and plays regularly.

Next Step Junior Golf Clinics Fall 2011
The next step junior golf clinics are classes intended for beginners and intermediate golfers ready to take the next step towards becoming great golfers.  Each class focuses on specific aspects of the game of golf.  The small group format will insure that each junior golfer has enough time with a professional to see the improvement they desire.  The classes cover putting, pitching, sand, irons and woods.  The price is $30.00 per student per class.  Juniors can sign up for the complete series for $120.00 and save $30.00.

Pruneridge Golf Club Junior Camp 2011

Junior camp sign up for 2011 starts at 8:00 AM Saturday May 7 The Camps will run from
9am-3pm each day.
(No Junior can Sign up without the completed entry form which includes a parent or guardians signature.)

Every summer we devote time to junior golf by offering four-day camps. All aspects of the game are stressed: fundamentals (grip, stance and swing), rules, etiquette, chipping, putting, bunker shots and sportsmanship.  Each day the students will practice putting, wedge play, full swing and develop course management on the golf course.  Rules and etiquette will also be covered daily.  The class will also include lunch each day, a shirt, a visor, rule book, and a special gift and more.

       Ability Level: Intermediate For: Intermediate Juniors Only

• Intermediate - A junior who has had professional instruction, but still needs to improve their fundamental skills.

       Cost: $450 per Junior (Ages 8 to 17)

Space is limited, so its first come, first served! All juniors are also invited to play in our Pruneridge Golf Club's Junior Tournament series. Please ask the golf professionals for a scheduled camp dates and prices.
